in october 2011, i finished the script (5th draft) for my feature-length comedy, "2013", about a young los angeles latina who so firmly believes the world will end on december 21, 2012, per the mayan prophecy, that she does some well-intentioned but drastic things that leave her homeless, jobless, car-less, and penniless. now she's left desperately searching for meaning in her seemingly hopeless life. (yes, i did say comedy!)
there are no guns, gangs, drugs, or prostitution...and it's funny! it has also been called "heartwarming" and "uplifting." on the surface, "2013" would seem to be about a young spiritual latina artist, but it's really about self-discovery, empathy, acceptance, compassion, growth, love, and success!
i have a director interested, plus the folks at Anonymous Content requested the script!

living in tijuana now, so...
since moving to tijuana in the fall of 2010, jonny has also written a couple dozen songs...
